Lights, camera, action!

I just finished recording the first part of my motivational interviewing podcast!  I got to use UC Irvine School of Medicine’s beautiful recording studio.  The first two segments will be focused on the technique of motivational interviewing and key phrases to use.  Then, I’ll be shooting my next video where I interview a patient so that you can see the motivational interview in action.

What you will learn:

1) How to elicit, provide, and elicit information from your patient

2) How to make SMART plans

3) What do say when your patient is ambivalent about making changes

4) Much, much more!
