Sitting in the waiting room yesterday waiting for my doctor’s appointment I look around at all the magazines I have to choose from to pass the time. Do I want to read about some celebrity’s awful scandal? What about how the best home decorating tips? Or parenting? Umm… I guess I’ll just go on my phone instead.
Wouldn’t it be great if there was something that was actually worthwhile to read? I came across this amazing magazine a few years ago when my aunt gave it to me as a Christmas gift, and I’ve been a loyal subscriber ever since. It’s called Nutrition Action Heathletter, and it delivers up to date nutrition information and publishes the results of the latest studies in a way that readers of all backgrounds can understand, not just doctors.
If you check out their website they feature archived issues, so you can see exactly what I’m talking about! They had a fantastic article on the different types of fats that I referenced in my last post, and I love to include copies of articles in the Nutritional Counseling Elective dropbox folder.
