Precision healthcare monitoring…what is it?

The US Department of Veterans Affairs, today, awarded the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, the Regenstrief Institute and Indiana University School of Medicine a $5 million grant to support the growth of precision healthcare monitoring programs. The goal of this program is to follow patients with remote monitoring and more efficiently coordinate their care with various specialists in an effort to provide individualized medicine more effectively. Using the VA system is a great way to have access to many patients with chronic diseases who are needing more monitoring and interdisciplinary continuity of care.
