“Super Suits” Offer Exoskeletal Technology to Developmentally Delayed in the Form of Normal Appearing Clothing

Designed by physical therapists at University of Delaware, “Super Suits” is the name dubbed to a number of products being developed to replace the large, clunky, expensive exoskeletons that are typically used for young patients with motor weakness.  These new devices are in the form of normal clothing with embedded piano wires and other supports and will be more comfortable, discreet, and easier to put on/use than the current exoskeletal technology.
