With the advent of electronic medical records and improved diagnostic and imaging tools, physicians are now surrounded by overwhelming data streams, which has created “alarm fatigue.” Many recent studies explore whether the adaptation of technological advancements in medicine improve clinical outcomes. In this article, researchers examine the impact of a software designed to visualize parameters and help anesthesiologists make intraoperative decisions.
