New HHS Division to Protect Clinicians With Religious Objections

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced plans to “more vigorously and effectively enforce existing laws” that help doctors to opt out of medical procedures that they object due to religious or personal reasons. Will this encourage discrimination against LGBTQ people or will it allow patients to better locate doctors who would be better advocates?
