Before-School Exercise Program Shows Promise as a Model for Fighting Childhood Obesity

A new study involving two dozen elementary and middle schools implemented the “Build Our Kids’ Success (BOKS)” before-school exercise curriculum and showed that kids were healthier and happier. The BOKS program, started by parents and sponsored by Reebok, has become one of the most widely disseminated, free, school-based exercise programs.
