China’s big push to incorporate AI into health care

In a country with only 1.5 doctors per 1,000 people, China is hoping that artificial intelligence can fill its huge shortfall of physicians. Over 131 Chinese companies are currently working on ambitious efforts to incorporate AI into health care through tools such as a computer program that can detect malignancies on imaging of the lung.
